    Think about indigenous toys/learning materials that are very famous from your State/ UT and share your ideas how you can use them in teaching learning of different concepts, skills etc..

  1. I remember my childhood,my grandfather made toys from pieces of wood.He made domestic animals like horse,cow,sheep, dog cat etc.by carving it. These types of toys also seen now adays and also available at our local area. As a teacher, I would like to bring these toys in my teaching learning process to develop children's communication ,self expression, creativity,develop their fine motor skills , understand the concept of different types of animals, classification of animals, concept of domestic and wild animals.

  2. As we are aware that Arunachal Pradesh is abundance in Bamboo.
    So making toys with Bamboo and wooden will be preferred most.
    This type of toys making will help children in skill developing, communication skill and perception.
    Hence as a Teacher would prefer Bamboo art, Toys making and wooden carving.

  3. Traditionally in Arunachal Pradesh, toys used to be made from wood and bamboo. Toys can help children learn about different animals, tools, traditions etc. Use of toys in teaching-learning helps in the development of communication skills, problem solving skills, motor skills, teamwork skills and creativity in children.

Toy-based pedagogy of learning is the necessary and immense educational weapons in every aspect of child's ,life.With the help of this tools and techniques,the learner will able to develop creativity,motor skills,cognitive,communication,attractive and appealing learnings.The variety of an indigenous toys generally made up of clay and wood is preferably used in our classroom to make conceptual and joyful learnings.

Hence, different types of toys can be made and used to be made and these toys can help children learn about different animals, tools, traditions, etc. Use of toys in teaching-learning helps in the development of communication skills, problem solving skills, motor skills, teamwork skills and creativity amongst children.

It is mostly related to domestic animals like horse,cow,sheep, dog cat etc. These types of toys also seen now adays and also available at our local area. As a teacher, In teaching lrarning these toys can be used teaxh the names of domestic animals and their features and to develop children's communication ,self expression, creativity,develop their fine motor skills , understand the concept of different types of animals, classification of animals, concept of domestic and wild animals.
    Bamboo is also a very food material for making crafts and toys. This is also can be used in classroom to teach various things

Down in memory lane I find toys which are made of clothes stitch in different shapes enriched with decorative clothed,lattu etc.Toy based pedagogy based on learning by doing in which all three domains cognitive motor psychomotor are acting together resulting acquisition of concept/knowledge and retention of same permanently.

  15. educational toy is expected to educate. It should help a child to learn about a particular concept or develop a particular skill. For a child, anything can be a toy, like a piece of paper or fabric. A child loves to blow the piece of paper and watch it with curiosity. Toys and games help in providing immense joy to all children.
