            Think constructively on the following points: How often do you organise PTMs? What kind of discussions do you generally have with parents? Have you tried to explore how best they can help you and the school to work more effectively? Have you also tried to think about the general concerns of the parents and what could be the solutions from your side and/or from the school?   3. Due to Covid situation, it is not possible to organise PTMs very often. PTMs are the best way to involve parents in their children's learning and development. In PTMs we generally discusses students performances and their interest in learning.
    But many times parents are not turn-up in meetings as most of them are daily earners. Poverty is the major issue that they could not actively involve and support their children's learning.

PTM is an important bridge between the school teachers and parents without which all round progress of the students will not be satisfied.To foster all round development of the students as well as the in-fra-structucture of the school and to enrich strong relation between the school and parents/community,the PTM is usually convene quarterly.While fixing the day of the PTM,we choose the date which is suitable for the parents so that maximum numbers of parents can attend.Such suitable day we generally keep for the meeting is either poornima or Amavaishya because on this day village people observe "No work Day" that is holiday,( this is only for where poornima/Amavishya is observe as holiday).In my opinion, a small activities such as cultural events,literary competitione etc are helpful to boost the parents maximum participation during the PTM.At the meeting,we generally talk about the daily activities of the school like attendance of teachers and students,performance of the students etc.Other parents activities like sending their chidren to school daily,helping their children to do homework and extension of parents support to school etc are usually discuss during the Parent Teacher Meet.

Alas! In village level it is a challenge to bring patrents to school (due to various underlying reasons like work, fear of receiving complaints about their child, etc etc)

  18. Parents and Teachers Meetings are regulated for the wellbeing and the betterment of the students, their education and mental abilities. It is a means of partnership and equal participation of both parties in the involvement of understanding children and making the best decisions for them.
    The meeting enables both parents and teachers to also understand the roles of one another in a student's life. It allows them to investigate means for bettering the children's education and their social skills.

  27. We organise PTMs after every examinations or periodic test held, this way we could reduce the communication barrier between parents and teachers.

    The discussions we generally have with parents mostly comprises of their academic results, fields they are lacking or making improvements child's interest their needs etc.

    Yes we have tried to explore how best they can help us and the school to work more efficiently.

    If talking about my experience the general concerns that parents come up with are basically about their child's academics and ways to improve their lacking fields.

It is very important to conduct PTMs in every school because this is an effective source and linkage between parents and teachers to develop the learning skills or interests in learners.PTMs ought to be organised quarterly so that we can able to redress the grievances and learnings method of learners and keep up to date.In the interest of quality education of children,we basically discuss or stress the need and necessity of an education.Most of the parents are illiterate and ignorant.They are not aware about the education.It is our duty to make them quite aware of it through conducting PTMs as and when required.

  33. For a student, school is where they spend most of their days' time in. So it is important that the school create a welcoming and comfortable environment for the children. This would mean better toilet facilities, water availability, and better classrooms.
    Having outdoor classes for practical learning, and enjoyable learning, is also mandatory. There must be enough open fields or playing grounds in the vicinity of the school for students to roam around and learn freely in.
    There must also be teachers available permanently, which will not hamper the students education and learning process

  34. PTM plays a crucial role in child s progress. Parents must be aware of child s progress on a regular basis. PTM must be conducted every month and parents must attend it regularly.
