  1. Children's school dress, checking their nails daily, teeth, whether they have come to school after bathing or not are some of my views to enable the children's to follow hygienic habits in their daily life.

  2. We can start with keeping our classroom and school campus clean and it is very important that teachers are involved in this cleaning process. Once they become concious of it, we can advice them to keep their home environment clean, take bath regularly, wash their clothes, use soap to wash hands etc. We can check this daily by observing them, talking to them and giving them opportunity to share their daily activities with the whole class.

  3. We can advice them to keep their home environment clean, washing their hands with soap after going to the toilet and keeping their classroom and shool campus clean. Checking their nails, daily, teeth whether they have come to school after bathing or not. We can check this daily by observing them, talking to them and giving them opportunity to share their daily activities with the childrens.

  4. We can advice them such as washing hands ,brushing and flossing their teeth will help keep bacteria ,viruses, and illness at bay. Practicing good body hygiene helps you feel good about yourself which is important for your mental health .

  6. To ensure that the children are hygienic, the first thing is to see whether they are clean. For eg:- Checking their nails, hands and etc. Next is to see whether the school surrounding is clean like drain, wash room, class room and staff room.

Everyone needs to keep clean to kill germs and avoid getting sick.Most germs are spread through hand contact so we can advice them I)to wash hand with soap regularly to prevent from getting sick.ii)brushing teeth twice a day iii) getting nails cut when they grow big. iv)to keep their surroundings clean.

As the foundational years of children are critical NEP gave more attention on many development like physical or motor development, socio-emotional etc. In which hygienic development is also there. To monitor hygienic practices we as a teacher should ensure that children should come in proper uniform, and asked them to maintain good habits like
    1. Bathing daily
    2. Keeping nails clean
    3. Brushing teeth twice daily
    4. Washing hands
    5. Comb their hair etc.

We can check if their uniform is clean, we can inquire if they are brushing their teeth daily, whether or not they are taking bath regularly, cutting their nails etc. Proper hygiene should be maintained in the school so as they can learn from the environment they are studying in. In early ages of their life they learn a lot from the environment they are in so, as a teacher we can set an example for them.

Some of the good health and hygienic practices that I have to deal with the children are:Checking of uniform,nails,whether they took bath or not and hair are cut and properly combed and ensuring them that their teeth are properly brushed or not.And advising them to wash their hands frequently.

  13. Mainly the toilet should be clean and hygiene and mid-day meals kitchen should be in hygiene ways and it's our responsibility to teach our students about health and hygiene in our daily life.

  15. There is a very significant difference between cleanliness and hygiene, and one that is often overlooked or not known. A person can be very vocal about cleanliness but still not be hygienic. So, the first thing to teach a student is about the difference. Following a good hygiene means eating good, keeping the surrounding near you clean, knowing how to take care of your body. These are the first things I would teach and approach my students with.

According to me, we can advise our children to cut their nails, brush their teeth regularly, wash their hands with soap/handwash , wear clean uniforms , keep the surrounding clean, always use dustbin and the most important thing they must take the precautions regularly. During this pandemic precautions is must.

  22. The monitoring of a child's hygenic practice starts at the moment they enter the school gate informaly. At the assembly, their hygenic practices are monitored actually. The monitoring areas are dressings, school shoes are polished, wore soaks, carried school bags property, nails are cut and cleaned, comb hair, take bath frequently or not. We can also monitor them through their body languages.

  23. Every children need to keep themselves clean to remain healthy. Good personal hygiene helps to boost their self-esteem and confidence and also helps in dealing with problem of bad breath or body odour. So, children’s should be monitored on daily basis to practice following hygiene practices like:
    • Washing hands.
    • Covering their mouth when they cough.
    • Having regular bath or shower.
    • Brushing and flossing teeth.
    These good personal hygiene practice will help them manage more difficult personal hygiene issues that will come up when they attain teenagers.

To monitor hygienic practices, we, as a teacher should ensure that all the children should come in proper uniform and ask them to maintain good habits in their day to day life and in the schools like-
    1. Daily bathing
    2. Cutting and keeping their nails clean
    3. Polish their shoes.
    4. Brush their teeth twice a day.
    5. Wash hands frequently after touching something, shaking hands with others, after toilet/urination, etc.
    6. Comb their hair, etc.

Good personal hygiene also boosts confidence by dealing with problems like bad breath or body odour.You may have to help your child practise good personal hygiene habits. These will become even more important as they grow older and approach puberty. Being able to talk openly and honestly about keeping clean will help you manage the more difficult personal hygiene issues that are likely to come up when they are teenagers.

    •Clean clothes.
    •Personal hygiene like bathing, tooth brushing, clean nails, well-combed hair, feminine hygiene.
    •Keeping their possessions like school bags, books and notebooks tidy.
    •Good habits like using the toilet on time and daily, washing their hands with soap after using the washroom and before eating, using garbage bins for trash, keeping their surroundings clean.
    •Following rules to check the spread of Covid-19.
    •Look for signs of physical or mental illness, in which case medical help may be needed.

    A little education and hand-holding can go a long way in ensuring that children stay healthy.
