A teacher put a problem before students of class IV. Add 400+7 A student has done it in the following way 400+7 = 4007 Another student has done in following manner 400+7 = 1100 What prerequisite knowledge might students not have? Cultural and Environmental activities should be done daily
ReplyDeleteUnder the cultural and environmental aspects of Samagra Shiksha, innovative activities should be conducted in schools to enhance the quality of the students and teachers.
ReplyDeleteSamagra Shiksha-Integrated Scheme for School Education (ISSE). Provides so many schemes in respect of students from class pre-school to class XII and school as a whole to prepare with the broader goal of improving school effectiveness measured in terms of equal opportunities for schooling and equitable learning outcomes.

Some activities like.. remembering multiplication table by forming song, making some postures, monoacting, mimicry, debate competition, planting trees,find out constellation in evening for hostel boarders,store roof water and channelise to kithen garden of home, hostel etc can be conducted as normal activities.

ReplyDeleteFor more innovative programs students may ask for tree plantation, wearing own traditional dresses, singing floksong, Shere own flok stories among each other.
ReplyDeleteUnder the initiative taken Samagra Siksha Abhiyan, we can do lot of activity to preserve local culture and promote environmental awareness in our society whereas not much have been done yet. There is a lot of scope in learning traditional craft like wood craft, weaving, stiching etc. Organising event and competion by reciting folktale, folklore and folk dances are other innovative activity to promote cultural value and perseverance.
ReplyDeleteThrough the Aspect of Samagra Shiksha programme, we could visualise the Culture ,local traditions, Attire, Folks dance and Tales in the school.
ReplyDeleteWe must promote crafting, sculpturing, Design with Rangoli and many more in the school ..
Innovative activities such as youth exchange program, cultural program, self defence training, constitution of youth club,eco-club, setting up of school nutrition garden, awareness campaign on the theme of afforestation ,health and hygiene, importance of water, pollution and its impact , importance of natural resources etc.can be conducted under the cultural and environmental aspects of samagra shiksha.

ReplyDeleteGrowing kitchen gardens, maintain vermin-composting pits, construct water harvesting structures in school, practice paper recycling etc. Prepare inventories of polluting sources and forward it to enforcement agencies. Maintenance of public places like parks, gardens both within and out side the school campus.
