  10. As per census 2011, the gender ratio of India is 943 females per 1000 males. Whereas Arunachal Pradesh's gender ration was 890 females per 1000 males. Thus sex ratio of Arunachal Pradesh is less than in comparison to National sex ratio.

  17. Men are always shown as being in charge of buying high value goods like gold, cars, houses.
while women are usually shown ruling the domestic sphere.

For instance, in Kinder Joy advertisement they show a pink kinder joy package is meant for the girl and a blue one for the boy.
The gifts opened by the girl are generally barbie dolls, rings, kitchen related kits, sewing machines, and others which are considered to be enjoyed by girls only.
And for boys, they put gifts like cars, superheroes, airplanes, and so on.
The advertisement talks about color preferences and toys that are gender biased.
Also we can see in most newspaper advertisements where for the post of wireman-cum-electrician only male candidates are allowed to apply.
There are many more such ads where males are portrayed as the strong, the abled and the superior sex while the women the weaker or inferior sex.
This discrimination on the basis of sex and gender should be stopped.
