A teacher put a problem before students of class IV. Add 400+7 A student has done it in the following way 400+7 = 4007 Another student has done in following manner 400+7 = 1100 What prerequisite knowledge might students not have? ReplyDeleteDuring this period of time, ICT has turned out to be a boon for both teacher and student, we can communicate with each other without physically meeting. We can solve the queries and send assignment through ICT and also can see the result and assessment.

ReplyDeleteIn this crises time of classroom teaching due to Covid -19 Pandemic, I have tried and Iam still trying to use the ICT in teaching learning process.I have use different software and hardware tools that comes under ICT such as google classroom, whats app to share the notes and for assessment and evaluation of the progress of the students. Google meet and jamboard have been used by me during online classes. Audios and videos have been recorded and provided to students throught google classroom and whatsApp. I have also used google form for online assessments of students. It helps me a lot in assessment process as it is being checked by google. We need to set answer key only for multiple choice questions. Slide presentation is also used by me during online class. And same presentation is shared to the students at the end of chapter. In this process my laptop helped me a lot.

ReplyDeleteICT make the teaching learning for the secondary level much more effective and that too with fun. Many activities related to subject Maths and Science are not possible in the classroom, when there is no laboratory in the school. So, in such case ICT plays a vital role in providing some useful learning tools such as Geogebra (for teaching Geometry topic), Phet, Avagadro, Anatomy, Kalzium (for teaching Science) and Marble (for teaching S/ST). This are some of the Open Source free platform which makes the whole teaching learning process very simple and interesting.

ReplyDeleteOur Smartphone is the best example of ICT device because it can create digital image , stored , retrieve and transfer it as and when necessary. This digital image can be manipulated as per our requirement and can be shared also.
ICT revolutionized all spheres including teaching-learning process. its importance is realized during the prolong ongoing covid-19 lockdown period through which online classes were held under CLP scheme launched by the Govt.
Keeping advancement of the digital world our teachers also need to equip themselves with professional ability for using ICT. Teacher can know how to use this technology in teaching learning process and integrate this technology with pedagogy and its content then only we can set our goal and find fruitful learning outcome from the learners.
To provide qualitative education in the state, the Govt of Arunachal has launched the K-Yan programme under ICT Scheme, K-Yan machines were supplied to most of the schools in the state. Actually this machine is all in one integrated machine which contains, computer, projector, amplifier, interactive board and also have inbuilt course content of all subjects from PP to Class XII. This machine helps lot to improve teaching learning process in modern innovative way in the state.
ICT plays an important role on this current scenario of pandemic where teaching and learning is impossible due to repeated lockdown which has badly impacted the education system of our nation . due to ICT online classes, online assessment , etc where made possible which did a tremendous help to cover up all the syllabus. its time for us to equipped or skill up according to the modern digital era for advancement towards better, good digital citizenship.
ReplyDeleteICT has been very supportive in my teaching and learning assessment. It has been helpful in sending notes, voice notes, recordings and videos about a particular topic to the students. And also receiving their feedbacks and answers through it. Introducing ICT in teaching has made learning way more interesting. The topics which is hard to explain verbally can be explained easily through pictures and videography. To be short, ICT with its features has enhanced the learning process a lot.

ReplyDeleteStudents themselves can learn many things through many apps like Unacademy , BYJU'S, Vedantu and through youtubes etc and nowadays notes are easily available in the internet, they can search through internet and write down in their note copy. Teachers can also record videos , audio for better understanding of students. They can give notes through watsapp and show some pictures regarding the topic.
ICT has made teaching learning very effective , interactive and understandable. Google meet and zoom is a good platform where a teacher and student can connect, interact and have a conversation regarding the topics and the problems and needs of students.

ICT tool - SOCRATIVE (a formative assessment tool) helps teachers and learners to assess understanding and progress in real time in class through the use of quizzes and questions. ReplyDeleteIn this trying period of surge of Covid 19 for safe teaching - studying we have opted for many means some of which proved to be very useful and some remained in the not so helpful category. But as the videos have shown us here in this course we came to distinguish between using digital technology and Using ICT. Then I found ICT very useful while teaching different biological processes using animated and augmented digital presentations. When I shared those study materials with my students through internet, feedback was more intense than when I did the same with plain demonstration techniques. I also tried to cover some syllabus of practical activity and succeeded to show them some biological slide and species identification, I got to see their experimental set up when they have sent their individual or group video using digital techniques and internet.

It's highly needed in domains like education,healthcare, environmental studies,etc.

One can take classes anywhere, anytime and that too with some magnificent features. ICT is following all the norms that one needs to take during this pandemic. Students are not facing any loss and can study well.Also with the introduction of ICT not only students but teachers also came to know about so many new features that were unknown to us earlier.
In short ICT is a support to every sector where ever it's operating.

ReplyDeleteIn this pandemic situation I tried to keep in connect with student by shairing Subject courses ,Note ,Video, assignment and evaluation prepared by Smart phone through Whatsapp so that student could easily asses according to there suitability.
By using Apps like Zoom, Google meet , Classroom etc we stay connected digitally with student and perform Teachin and learning Activities. Those could only be possible with ICT which relly is a feature way of living with internet access.
ICT helps to understand critical concepts in maths through various apps such as blackboard, geogebra, jamboard in interesting way.

ReplyDeletethis crises time of classroom teaching due to Covid -19 Pandemic, I have tried and Iam still trying to use the ICT in teaching learning process.I have use different software and hardware tools that comes under ICT such as google classroom, whats app to share the notes and for assessment and evaluation of the progress of the students. Google meet and jamboard have been used by me during online classes.
