  15. The COVID 19 pandemic radically changed both the teachers and parents life overnight. Like the educators across the country, my plan for second half of the semester came to a screeching halt and left me feeling with unforeseen issue. Like guiding my students whose parents occupation was affected by pandemic. Due to the pandemic many parents had lost their job or they were working over time, many parents were unable to give quality time to their children. Here, I realized how important is a role of a teacher in a students life. I was not only a teacher but a guide to them. Since, teaching and communication had replaced classroom where I once taught. All mode of communication was through mobile and internet so it was easier for me to guide them in their subject by taking online classes and providing them with necessary help in both personal and educational field. I also made it a point to interact with the parents who had lost their occupation due to the pandemic and gave them psychological help and made it a point that their children’s education is not affected by it. Because, if parents are affected children are indirectly affected. Other than that, I also made it a point to visit them once the lock down was over and gave them mental support which I felt was the need of the hour.

  129. Children are likely to be experiencing worry, anxiety and fear, and this can include the types of fears that are very similar to those experienced by adults. The consequences of the disease covid -19 out break are being felt around the world for many children, this means having to cope with disrupted education, family illness and lose of house hold income, things that disproportionately affect children from poorest familiesespecially those families whose occupationsaffected by the pandemic.
The ongoing challenges working parents are facing as a result of COVID -19, which greatly increased schools and childcare setting , business, and other commertial institutions were closed. Many parents are being forced to take unpaid leave or are losing their jobs, bringing economic uncertainty and hardship at the worst possible time. This impact directly affect the psychological and mental health of the small growing kids.
There are some strategies that can be taken to address insecurities in students whose parents occupationsare affected by the pandemic --------
●Talk to them and give all informations with facts and truths. Give them moral support and make sure to help their parents financially in the present crisis, so that they may come out from the mental pressure immediately.
    ● Make sure and assure them for alternative income of sourcesfor their parents.
    ● Talk to parents and try to provide financial support with the help of Government agencies /NGO'S /other similar organisations, even from the school fund with the help of SMC, if possible.
    ● Give them a form of reference a perspective for understanding what is happening to them.
    ● Make sure that "signs of life continue in the family and that survival does not take center stage at all times. Laughing, playing, and doing things togetherthat celebrate being in the family are powerful weapons in fighting back fear.
    ● Talk to parents and askthem to take care of their own signs of stress. Teach children how a person can still be good and kind to themselves even under fighting circumstances.
    ● Have a family meeting to come up with a list of resources, ideas and family strengths.
    ● Take away some of the unknown by describing what might change in the family'sroutine, schedules, or activities. Give them some time frames, so they can know what to expect Stress that some of these changes may be temporary and some may be permanent, but be clear that the changes will help the family stay on track through this problem.
The temptation to "give in " to the whirlwind of emotionsthat accompany loss of family income is great, and tempers and negative communication will happen despite parents' best efforts at self-control. Feeling of embarrassment and shame about having to approach a religious institutionsor food donation organisations or about explaining to relatives the family'ssituation can lead to avoident responses that can be learned by children. When it is necessary to reach out for help, letting children know that we are stand together in as community or country to help each other is a sign of strength not weakness.

  163. The covid-19 pandemic has left a heavy burden on the economy of the world and a developing country like India is sufffering a lot as the economy of the nation 8s almost in a standstill because of lockdown and Covid related restrictions. Its impacts are felt by every section of the society but most effected are the daily wage earners and migrant labourers. This section of people in my area too were in severe financial crisis because of the lockdown as they were left with no means of earning for their livlihood. The children of such families were also severely effected. Its impacts were mostly severe on the girl child as they were overburdened with household chores and helping their parents in earning something for the family.

In my capacity I counsel them about the dealing with such stressful situation.Engaged them in some work with wages.I also donate some rations according my capacity.I also suggest them to adjust their time for study so that they can be in touch with books and continue their study.
