After reading the case study of various innovative initiatives being lmparted by the states and union territories of our country such as""pragna"An activity based learning model of Gujarat,Multilingual Education,Odisha,Sapno ki Udaan programme of Uttarakhand,Activity based Learning of Tamil Nadu,Ganitha Kalika Andolana of Karnataka and Nali Kali of Karnataka. In my opinion,I would like to appreciate the "Nali Kali" programme of karnataka and the other states and union Territories should follow this path to impart such type of quality education to the pupils of lower grades .Because in this type of education pupils participate actively throughout leraning process, lessens the buden of teachers, classroom interaction is maximum, children natural instincts such as curiosity, dynamism and explorayion find a place for channelisation. The Nali Kali method of classroom transaction not gives a greater autonomy to the teacher but also creates the right atmosphere for the child to learn in a friendly and joyful manner..Learning takes place systematically in groups organised according to the age wise competencies in an interactive manner. When children master the competency of one group , they move on to another group to learn the next competency. The teaching takes place through games, songs, surveys, storytelling and use of toys etc.According to this concept/ method of Nali Kali , it reduced learning loads and total mastery at the minimum level of learning.

ReplyDeleteInnovation has never been hostage to income, location or condition.Take the example of “progressive farmer”Jemni Ratan from Dambuk,Arunachal pradesh. The 56years old farmer has been facing a lot of issues with regard to plucking oranges from his farm as it sits on a slope.Ratan then thought of his new innovation of which while attached to a long stick can cut and collect the fruit in one go. The assembled device used a motorcycle lever system which can snip off the rip fruits right at the tip, without either damaging the branches or harming the food.Ratan is also known for his innovation in the regular Small-sized trolley attached behind a tractor. He re-modelled the design so that it can now carry larger and longer product especially bamboo in the hilly terrain. The new innovation was also employed by the people of lower Dibang valley for their home construction. So I think ths will be the best example or role model for other parts of the country.
