Project-based learning (PBL) is a student-centered pedagogy that involves a dynamic classroom approach in which it is believed that students acquire a deeper knowledge through active exploration of real-world challenges and problems.[1] Students learn about a subject by working for an extended period of time to investigate and respond to a complex question, challenge, or problem.[2] It is a style of active learning and inquiry-based learning. PBL contrasts with paper-based, rote memorization, or teacher-led instruction that presents established facts or portrays a smooth path to knowledge by instead posing questions, problems or scenarios. And with the help of project activity to a group of learner clear their concept and learn more about the concept because they all the practically involve on that project.
Many kind of concepts may assigned as a project activity to a group of learners for example food, materials, crops, resources, germination, fermentation etc.
Project work in science is usually an organised search, construction or task directed towards a specific purpose. It provides an opportunity to students to identify a problem, to design a work plan, to address the problem, to search for appropriate resources to carry out their own plan and to draw co conclusion on the basis of data information collected. In this process, the students learn fundamental principles of science, method and processes of science and are exposed to the phases involved in a scientific investigation.
As a project work students sud b made aware of the things surrounding them and asked to identify them and let them come to some effective conclusion by preparing datas according to their observations. This way learners can b indulge in a group activity
A group of learners may be assigned a project activity to produce a product related to a topic. The teacher sets the goals for the learner and then allows the learner to explore the topic and create their project. The teacher is a facilitator in this student-centered approach and provides scaffolding and guidance when necessary.
Fun learning activities can be assigned to the group of students as a project. And after the completion of the project, the teacher should explain the concept and principle behind that activities.
Project work in science involves the project activity of a group of leaners to their clear concepts to identify a problems,to design a work plan to draw a conclusion on basis of data information collected and identify them .
Project based /experiment based learning is compulsory in science subject to understand a specific concept. For example, how the sound is produced? . After experiment we come to know that there is a vibration. In this way science deals with facts and concepts.
Project activity is child centred approach as it involves the active learning of a learner and it's exploration to concept as well as topic, there is no rote memorization. It develops deeper knowledge of a learner, develop the ability and also gives opportunities to research about the topic, identify the problems and try to collect the materials that are needed. The group project activity concepts should be based on the group involvement of the students. It should involves cooperation, trust, hands on activity of the learner etc. Every students should be able to research about the topic, identify the problems, solve the problems, collect the materials or resources, draw conclusion .

Project-based learning, is a pedagogical method in which students are directed to create an artifact (or artifacts) to present their gained knowledge. Artifacts may include a variety of media such as writings, art, drawings, three-dimensional representations, videos, photography, or technology-based presentations. The basis of PBL lies in the authenticity or real-life application of the research and is considered an alternative to paper-based, rote memorization, teacher-led classrooms. Proponents of project-based learning cite numerous benefits to the implementation of these strategies in the classroom including a greater depth of understanding of concepts, broader knowledge base, improved communication and interpersonal/social skills, enhanced leadership skills, increased creativity, and improved writing skills.
the kind of concept that i assign for project that is related to our environment because that is very easy to collect sources and information even learner faced it his/her daily life so this make them more curious about his environment.
Concepts that can be related to real and daily life and also the concepts that can be worked in groups and individually. For instance model making, data collection, gardening etc.
Project activity to a group of learners should be based on the group involment of the students. It should involves cooperation, trust, hands on activity of the learner etc.It developes deeper knowledge of a learner, develop the ability and also gives opportunities to research about the topic, identify the problems and try to collect the materials that are needed. THANK YOU.

Performing activities or demonstrations can be assigned as a project activity to a group of learners. These activities motivates and nurture students' observation and experimental skills.
Project work of student make able to understand "how this things are made"I will assigned a scientific project work of student in which involvement of all students in differents groups and collect some scientific knowleadge from srrounding.
In Project Based Learning, the project is the vehicle for teaching the important knowledge and skills student need to learn. The project contains and frames curriculum and instruction. In contrast to dessert projects, PBL requires critical thinking, problem solving, collaboration, and various forms of communication.Group activities enable students to discover deeper meaning in the content and improve thinking skills. It also piques the interest of students in the given topics to deal in real time. Hence, for forever imprinting the education and its uses and benefits in their life.
Any kind of project work needs a lots of people to engage in. Project work of students make able to understand how this things are made. These activities motivates and nurture students observations and experimental skills.
Project based learning is a pedagogical strategy in which students produce a product related to a tropic. In PBL students learn about a subject by working for a extended period of time to investigate and respond to a complex question challenge or problem
Such type of concept should be provided/given to the learner as project which involves group learning and participation.for e.g modal making , collecting different types of leafs, seeds, followers etc .

Those scientific concepts which involves collective participation of learners such as data collection on different topics , model works, collage etc...
Project based learning is an easy and more effective as the children learns from each other and develops better understanding of any topic. The assignment being divided amongst the students, their cooperative nature and learning skills increases day by day.
The Science project activities based on daily life,Nature, Living organisms,Water scarcity, Environmental issues,Technological development and their effect, Health and diseases etc can be assigned to the students. This will create awareness and more responsible person among the group members..
Project-vased learning also gives students the opportunity to explore problems and challenges that have real world applications, increasing the possibility of long-term retention of skills and concepts. The teacher plays the role of facilitator, working with students to frame worthwhile questions, structure meaningful task, coaching both knowledge development and social skills and carefully assessing what students have learned from the experience. Project based activity determine the project of the student, they engage student voice by encouraging students to take full responsibility for their learning. The student is constantly making choices on how to obtain, display or manipulate information. Technology make it possible for student to think about choices they make and execute.Every student has the opportunity to get involved, either individually or as a group. The student must ask questions, build knowledge and determine a real-world solution to the question presented. Student must collaborate, expanding their active listening skills and requiring them to engage in intelligent, focused communication, therefore allowing them to think rationally about how to solve problems.Project Based learning also forces students to take ownership of their success.

The teacher sets the goals for the student and then allows the learner to explore the topic and create their project. The teacher is a facilitator in this student-centered approach and provides guidance and support when necessary.
Concepts like making the structure of an atom can be given to students where they can be asked to make a 3D model of it . Another concept can be given to showcase how the heart works in the body .
There are different kinds of concepts that can be assigned to the classes based on there syllabus. For example in class vi we can ask the students to study the veination in different kinds of leaves ,that way it'll arose a sense of curiosity and in the process they will learn too. In class viii we can ask them to study and discuss together about carbonification or the water cycle, these are topics/concepts which are very practical and is a natural occurence. Such kind of concepts which are based on everyday phenomenon will excite the children's and they can work in groups to learn about it. Once they start learning they will develop interest and then it'll be easier for them to understand.
Project Based Learning (PBL) is a comprehensive perspective focused on teaching by engaging students in investigation within this framework, students pursue solutions to nontrivial problems by asking and refining question, debating ideas, making prediction, designing plans or experiments, drawing conclusion, communicating their ideas and finding to others, asking new question and creating artifact's.
Project based learning is an easy and more effective as the children learns from each other and develops better understanding of any topic. The assignment being divided amongst the students.Their cooperative nature and learning skill increase day by day.

Locally available material while transacting concepts.various resources such as science kits, information and communication technology (ICT),art education etc may be judiciously employed to enrich project activity to a group of learner's.
Project-based learning is a student-centred pedagogy, where learners are assigned with various task and activities for a specific purpose. Through these learning students can gain wide vast of knowledge and develop skills to understand and improve their social/personal skills of communication.
Project work is a student centered learning that involve students only . It provides opportunity to the students to identify a problem , to design a work plan , to address the problem , to search for appropriate resources, to carry out their own plan and to draw conclusion on the basis of data collected..It develops team spirit and leadership among the students.

Project-based learning is much suitable for students to develop his/her concept. We can set the goals for the learner, and then allows the learner to explore the topic and create their project. Project-based learning cite numerous benefits of these strategies including a greater depth of understanding of concepts, broader knowledge base, improved communication and interpersonal/social skills, enhanced leadership skills, increased creativity, and improved writing skills. If students use technology as a tool to communicate with others, they take on an active role vs. a passive role of transmitting the information by a teacher, a book, or broadcast. The student is constantly making choices on how to obtain, display, or manipulate information
As project based learning is very much important for the learners to grasp the particular topic. The group of learners can be assigned or involved in project activity like visiting a garden, visiting a geological park and visiting on field trip.It is important that teachers provide appropriate activity and opportunity to children through familiar experiences to engage in the practice of science and construction of knowledge.
Project-based learning develops greater depth of understanding the concepts than in traditional classroom-based learning and results in improved levels of students creativity. Real world situations given in the project are more capable to draw students attention and capture their interest to provoke the needed level of thinking to apply new knowledge in a problem solving context.
Experience of project, Assignments,Experiments etc.can be valuable in learning overall knowledge not only from books. Knowledge can be attained faster through experience and also can gain confidence, social skills, broadening their vision and mind . 1)Problem Based Learning (PBL) is an instructional approach which enables learners to simultaneously develop learners to simultaneously develop problem solving strategies, disciplinary knowledge, research skills. 2)Project based learning is a teaching method which students learn by actively engaging in real -world and personally meaningful projects.
An activity is typically one stage of project management plan. Each activity consists of one or more actions that, upon completion, will lead to the next project stage. Taken together as a series, the activities will result in the final deliverable. Projects can be assigned to individuals, pairs or teams. Team projects teach important lessons about collaboration but can give to a free rider problem where some team members don't make an equal contribution. A common solution is identifying and assessing individual contributions to the team effort. Project based learning is a student -centred pedagogy that involves a dynamic classroom approach in which it is believed that students acquire a deeper knowledge through active exploration of real world challenges and problems. Students learn about a subject by working for an extended period of time to investigate and respond to a complex Question ,challenge, or problem. It is a style of active learning and inquiry based learning. PBL contrasts paper-based rote memorisation, or teacher-led instruction that presents established facts or portrays a smooth path of knowledge by instead posting questions, problems or scenarios. "More hands make for lighter work ". "Two heads are better than one ". "The more the merrier ". These adages speak to the potential groups have to be more productive, creative and motivated than individuals on their on their own. Group project can help students develop a host of skills that are increasingly important in the professional world. Positive group experiences, moreover, have been shown to contribute to student learning, retention and overall college success. Properly structured, group projectscan reinforce skills that are relevant to both group and individual work including the ability to ---------- *Break complex tasks into parts and steps. *Refine understanding through discussion and explanations. *Give and receive feedback on performance. *challenge assumptions. * Develop stronger communication skills. Group projectscan also help students develop skills specific to collaborative efforts, allowing students to............ *Tackle more complex problems than they could on their own. *Delegate roles and responsibilities . *Share diverse perspectives. *Pool knowledge and skills. *Hold one another accountable. *Receive social support and encouragementto take risks. *Develop new approaches to resolve differences. *Establish a shared identity with other group members. *Find effective peers to emulate. *Develop their own voice and perspectives in relation to peers.

Observations skills is one of the important skills for teaching learning process. Through this students observe things and trying to find out solutions.
Project work is also one of the curricular activity of learning through which the students can learn better by doing themselves. E.g we can give so many projects work to students according to their subject in Science we can give the project of digestive system,in geography we can give map work etc..
Project activities students make able to understand how this things are made. These activities motivates and nature students observations and experimental skills.
Project- based activities learning is a child- centred pedagogy that involves a classroom interesting, interactive, participate, engaging to all the learners.Doing the project works the students can learned, think, experiment, explore etc.The teacher is a facilitator in this students- centred approach it provides guidance and support when a students doubts.
The concept that can be done by the students themselves that is LEARNING BY DOING. For e.g a group of students divided into two subgroups. Let one of the student be stand stationary at a point as SUN. And mark eight students as nine planets of the solar system and let them rotate in same speed in their own orbit. From this the students will be able to understand the concept of system.
The project activity concept should be based on the group involvement of the students. The project based learning lies in the authenticity or real life application of the research and is considered an alternative to paper based, rote memorization.

Refine understanding through discussion and explanation. 4. Give and receive feedback on performance. 5. Challenge assumptions. 6. Develop stronger communication skills etc.
Project work helps the children more deeper knowledge in particular topic. It encourages the learner more curiosity and understand the things ie draw the picture of Ameoba.
In project activities students make table to understand how this things are made or make which students gain knowledge and skill by working in extended period of time.
Project based learning is very good method in which students gain well knowledge,it also develop skills in children learning things interestingly. This kind of project works provide an opportunity to students to identify a problems to design a work plan to search for appropriate resources to carryout their plans. In this way the students can be indulge in a group activities. (R.Tsering).

Project activity work in Science will provide opportunities to children to engage in the practice of Science and process of construction of knowledge by children. On the basis of data information collected by students on different topics, model works etc. discussion with peers, then students will be able to better understanding about the particular topic. The group learner activity should be based on the group involvement of the students they involves cooperation, collaboration, trust, hands on activities of the learning experience .ln this way project based activity is an important component of pedagogy of Science in teaching learning process.
Concepts such as creating a science model on topics like acid rain, global warming, recycling of plastic or paper, anatomy of a human brain lung or heart function etc.
Projects can be assigned to individuals, pair or teams. Team projects teach important lessons about collaboration but can give to a free rider problem where some team don't make an equal contribution. A common solution is identifying and assessing individual contributions to the team effort.

Project based learning is the vehicle for teaching the important knowledge and skills student need to learn. The project contains and frames curriculum and instruction. In contrast to dessert projects ,PBL requires critical thinking, problem solving ,collaboration and vatious forms of communication. This can be done by- 1) Starting with essential questions. 2)Design a plan for the project. 3)Create a schedule. 4)Monitor the students and the progress of the project. 5)Assess the outcome . 6)Evaluate the experience. 7)Review the performance.
The Science project activities based on daily life,Nature, Living organisms,Water scarcity, Environmental issues,Technological development and their effect, Health and diseases etc can be assigned to the students. This will create awareness and more responsible person among the group members..
Project activity which is best suited for a group of learners is survey. Survey can be done on any topic. Survey requires more people and they can clarify their doubts on the topic through survey very easily.
In a project activities a group of learners can be assigned for the following concepts. Teachers, in order to help learners construct knowledge, making sure the learner memorise everything, involving the learner for active participation, mastering learning of concepts by the learners.
Project activity develops knowledge of a learner.it should involves cooperation and hands on activity of the learner.Students should be able to research about the topic, identify the problems, solve the problems and draw the conclusion.
Project based activity from the textbook may be assigned to the students wherein they can gather information, held discussions and come out with proper presentations.
An experiment or project based learning should be compulsory in science subject so that a student can understand the specific conscept very clearly and thoroughly. As an e.g like the the video clip shown in the subject/chapter that how is sound produced? That after the experiment we came to know because of the vibration only the sound is produced. So here we get to know the science deals with only concepts and the facts.
Project activities is a student centred pedagogy. it provides an opportunity to students to identify a problem, to design a work plan, to address the problem, to search for appropriate resources to carry out their own plan and to draw co conclusion on the basis of data information collected.the project may be assigned to the students on the basis of the day to day experience of the life .
Project-based learning, is a pedagogical method in which students are directed to create an artifact (or artifacts) to present their gained knowledge. Artifacts may include a variety of media such as writings, art, drawings, three-dimensional representations, videos, photography, or technology-based presentations.
project based learning is a learner oriented. To develop scientific temper and to know the principles and natural phenomena, laws governing our existence ,project based learning is very effective. For eg..learners may assigned a project related to their surroundings categorising the uses of plastics ,polythene ,wrapping papers ,jute bags as an options in the market within their neighbourhood. They should also list out the harmful effects of plastic s in our environment. On the other hand, papers and jute bags can be recycled time to time .In this way, learners can achieve scientific temper and knowledge through systematic project based learning.

Project based learning is a pedagogical strategy in which students produce a product related to a topic. The core idea of project based learning is that real world problems capture student's interest and provoke serious thinking as the students acquire and apply new knowledge in problem solving context. At middle school level, activities may include researching trash statistics, documenting local history through interviews, or writing essays about a community scavenger hunt.
Project -based learning is a student centered pedagogy that involves a dynamic classroom approach in which it is believed that that students acquire in a deeper knowledge through active exploration of real - world : students learn about a subject by working for an extended period of time to investigate an respond to a complex Question. It is style of active learning and inquiry - based learning, BPL contrasts with paper-based,rotememorization. Project based learning is a pedagogical strategy in which students produce a product related to a topic only the social dynamics of the assessment may escape the teacher notice. A few quick examples of the more than 100 PBL lesson include: The Ultimate Design challenge students design solution to a current problem using mathematical models. Lending a Helping hand - students become financial adveisors and are challenged to make the best use of$ 25 in away that impacts their community most.
The project method is a teacher-facilitated collaborative approach in which students acquire and apply knowledge and skills to define and solve realistic problems using a process of extended inquiry. Projects are student-centered, following standards, parameters, and milestones clearly identified by the instructor. Students have control over the planning, refining, presenting, and reflecting of the project. The project activity concepts should be based on Involvement of each and every student in a group. It should involve cooperation trust and on activity of learner etc.The method involved in the project should be interesting and must be easy for the student to do appropriately.Hence for imparting permanent and good knowledge of understanding of a particular concept, project method is very much essential.
Any kind of project work needs a lots of people to engage in. Project work of students make able to understand how this things are made. These activities motivates and nurture students observations and experimental skills.

Subjects like Science are all about activities and experiments. Therefore group learning can facilitate in identifying the problem, designing a work plan and to address the problem in the most suitable way possible. Also some concepts like Learner Centric Approach, Linking with Learning outcomes, in built assessment, enhancing gender sensitivity, inclusion and sensitivity towards environment etc., can be transacted by the teachers to the learners through such project activities.
Activities or projects like model making , collecting different types of leaves, seeds, flowers etc should be given to the students in groups. In this way students will practically learn to observe, investigate, experiment, collect data and come to the conclusion themselves.
Concepts like Shrinking potato chip bags in the microwave. Students can learn about polymers through hands-on activities using some of their favorite products, like shoes and sporting equipment. As a culminating activity, they can put a wrapper from their favorite chips or candy bar into the microwave for five seconds to learn about how polymers return to their natural state when exposed to the heat.

There's a lot of project based learning happening in schools these days. Projects typically have a set of desired outcomes and defined deliverables, knowledge, skills as well as dispositions. Desired outcomes can be assessed using rubrics.O of the concepts can be Inquiry based learning where it focuses on questioning, critical thinking and problem solving. The idea behind true this concept is to ignite students curiosity that motivates them and makes them want to learn more.
A group of learners may be assigned a project activity to produce a product related to a topic. Teacher sets the goals for the learner and then allows the learner to explore the topic and create their project. The teacher is a facilitator in this student-centered approach and provides scaffolding and guidance when necessary.
Project based or experiment based learning is compulsory in science subject to understand a specific concept. It encourage student's critical thinking, creativity and innovative idea
Project activity is basically a milestone, a section or a task that has many sub tasks under it. Such project is a multistep activity undertaken by an individual or group to achieve a particular aim. There are lots of project-based learning happening in schools these days. Where, students engage in rigorous, extended process of asking questions, finding resources and applying information. These project activity is mainly focused on student learning goals, including standard based content and skills like problem solving or critical thinking, collaboration and self management. There are many concept assigned as project activity to a group of learners some concepts include role play, game, project, information gap, jigsaw, think pair and share, inquiry technique, fishbowl technique but the most common is debate where students are given a controversial proposition related to current issues. Such, challenges helps children in developing their learning skills and making choices of participation and finding solution for their problem. Thus, such project activity is a necessity for over all development of a student.
Concepts that can be related to real and daily life and also the concepts that can be worked in groups and individually. For instance model making, data collection, gardening etc.
Project-based learning develops greater depth of understanding the concepts than in traditional classroom-based learning and results in improved levels of students creativity. Real world situations given in the project are more capable to draw students attention and capture their interest to provoke the needed level of thinking to apply new knowledge in a problem solving context.
In projects activities students make able to understand how this things are made or make which students gain knowledge and skill by working in extended period of time.
Project work of students make able to understand "how this thing are made" I will assigned a scientific project work of students in which involvement of all students in different group and collect some scientific knowledge from surrounding.
They should be assigned with those concepts which involves collective participation of the group of learners. It gives them the opportunity to explore problems and challenges that have real world applications.

To learn languages we have to create a language rich environment for the students by writing the names of the objects on them in whatever language is available in the classroom. In this way a student will become familiarise with new words. We can assign such kind of project work to a group of learners so that they will be able to learn new words and meanings. We can also assign such projects where a story is made in two essence. In one story some sentences say even no.sentences are removed and in the other story odd no.sentences are removed. A student can read out the first sentence and the other student can likewise fill up the missing sentences and vice versa. In this way too the learners can learn a language well.
Project activities on the basis of concepts which can be related to read life, daily works and activities can be assigned. Projects which can be done in groups and can provide better understanding of scientific concepts can be very beneficial.
A group of learner may be assigned a project activities. Students learn about a subject by working for an extended period of time to investigate and respond to a complex question.

ReplyDeleteProject Based Learning is a teaching method in which students gain knowledge and skills by working for an extended period of time to investigate and respond to an authentic, engaging, and complex question, problem, or challenge.
ReplyDeleteProject-based learning, is a pedagogical method in which students are directed to create an artifact (or artifacts) to present their gained knowledge.
Project based learning focuses on developing critical thinking and problem solving skills in the students .It's inquiry based method of learning to solve the problems given as projects to the students is a style of active learning .In short,we can say "Project Based Learning integrates knowing and doing".When students apply what they know to solve authentic problems with intensions to produce results that matter.
ReplyDeleteProject-based learning (PBL) is a student-centered pedagogy that involves a dynamic classroom approach in which it is believed that students acquire a deeper knowledge through active exploration of real-world challenges and problems.[1] Students learn about a subject by working for an extended period of time to investigate and respond to a complex question, challenge, or problem.[2] It is a style of active learning and inquiry-based learning. PBL contrasts with paper-based, rote memorization, or teacher-led instruction that presents established facts or portrays a smooth path to knowledge by instead posing questions, problems or scenarios.
ReplyDeleteAnd with the help of project activity to a group of learner clear their concept and learn more about the concept because they all the practically involve on that project.
Project activities can be assigned to the individual or in group of students for fun learning. Teacher should explain the concept and principles behind that activities after the completion of the project. Because project based or experiment based learning is compulsory in science subject to understand the specific concept.
ReplyDeleteProject work is effective tools for engaged learner's and also for effective in teaching learning process

Project work in science is usually an organised search, construction or task directed towards a specific purpose. It provides an opportunity to the students to identify a problem, to design a work plan,to address the problem, to search for appropriate resources, to carry out their own plan and to draw conclusion on the basis of data/information collected. In the process, the students learn fundamental principles of Science., method and processes of Science, and are explosed to the phases involved in a scientific investigation.
Concepts that are visible to the senses by way of active participation are the ones that should be assigned as group activity to students. Learning through group activity engages the students to be more open to scientific concepts.
ReplyDeleteProjects like how the sound is produced. By doing this experiment students can understand the vibration and how sound travels. Atlast a teacher explains the concept of sound.

The teacher is a facilitator in this student-centered approach and provides guidance and support when necessary.
ReplyDeleteConcepts like making the structure of an atom can be given to students where they can be asked to make a 3D model of it . Another concept can be given to showcase how the heart works in the body .
ReplyDeleteThere are different kinds of concepts that can be assigned to the classes based on there syllabus.
ReplyDeleteProject Based Learning (PBL) is a comprehensive perspective focused on teaching by engaging students in investigation within this framework, students pursue solutions to nontrivial problems by asking and refining question, debating ideas, making prediction, designing plans or experiments, drawing conclusion, communicating their ideas and finding to others, asking new question and creating artifact's.
