  2. The class may be divided into groups of 5(five) students each and assign them to write about different vegetables in their notebooks. The students may be asked to survey about the vegetables grown in their locality. We will collect the notebook from each groups and discussed at length in the classroom about the vegetables.

    1. I can give homework to ask their parent's source of income and work they are doing. Then tell one student to write down the type of work on black board by discussing with other students.By giving this activity I can give chance of survey, discussion about the occupation to the students.

      The student should taken to the fields and asked to survey about the different types of crops and different types of soil,climate required for the cultivation of various crops.

    I would like to introduce for a notebook based survey which can be used for teaching and learning and how survey enhances this particular topic.In this topic children may come to know about the meaning of literary,literacy rate of our country, state, district, male and female and so on.They will also come to know the advantage of literary, the participation of economic activities,job,etc.For this children will be divided into five or six group and asked them to do mini survey of literate person in their locality, their occupation, type of job, wages,etc.Each group are explaining the summary of their mini survey and it will bring lots of discussion in the classroom.In this way survey helps them to understand the topic of literary much better.It also helps the teacher to assess the learning outcomes.

Surveying particular topic by the students will definately enhance their learning process ,for this activity we can divide the students in groups and give them the activity of seed germination and tell them to guide the seedling tray and note down the changes they have noticed from day one of seedling like how a plant grows from a seed,what are the requirements for growing a plant and finally after two to three weeks we can tell the students to bring the plants they have grown and discuss the seed germination topic and its related requirements for growing a plant.

Learning by doing is very important when it comes to arouse interest among the students.so taking the students to a field visit survey would definitely excite the children and therefore,the outcome of the visit would prove to be very productive and fruitful.Say for example while teaching the topic of Tsunami, the students can be taken for a visit to the sea,after which they should be allowed to conduct interview session with the real survivors of the Tsunami.Teaching through the mode of survey would not just prove to be beneficial but would also give them a chance to be out of the four walls of a classroom.

On the basis of a survey that will enhance learing i would choose the topic of culture and diversity in their locality . I will ensure that students are fully engaged in the process of collecting data and photographs of different culture and write about few unique traits about each culture ,i will moniter individual progress, construct meaning from the content learned and from the process of learning it ,and apply the learnings to other contexts and settings . Field trips or village level farmers filed survey which totally a note book based survey.In this come across many farmers and askes many questions relating their fields ,their crops, their incomes the total family members engaged.This whole records are being kept or maintained in note book.And after returning back to schools the same is again studied learned their advantages and disadvantages, how to overcome the problems faced by the farmers and what and how can be implemented etc...

  98. I would ask the childrens to survey water resources.At first i would ask them to form a group and collect data based on how much water is being wasted and used by a particular house? From where they fetch water? Are there any scarcity of water in their locality?Then I would ask the children to put the data in an organised manner. Surveying would enhance and exercise the brains childrens as well as it would make learning fun by physical involvement making them aware of the importance of resources including water.After collecting data we will discuss in class about water .
