Imagine SNOW. Share what comes to your mind immediately. How will you feel if someone shares something about SNOW which is very different from what you shared? What could be the reasons for this difference?

white in colour, cold and wintry feeling. The reason could be that i have never seen snow in real life, only watch it on movies and dramas.
ReplyDeleteThe image that comes to my mind is a place where Snow has covered everything like a white blanket. I also see mountains covered in snow and the Sun shining simultaneously. I wouldn't be offended with a different perspective at all! The difference would be based on our past experiences. I come from a hilly region where it snows heavily, the other person would have had a different experience with snow.

DeleteWhenever I think of snow, I think white and pure where everything gets covered by a white blanket. Its beautiful . But when frosting starts flowed by snow and it covers everything, it also covers our vegetable /flower garden, it becomes frustrating then to see all our hard work covered in hard snow. It gives mixed feelings. When someone thinks different from what I think is because we are all different individuals and have different perspectives. I will not mind a difference in opinion ,like the coin has two faces so can anything in life too.

I personally have experienced the snow which i did not really enjoy since i cannot bear cold .
I haven't seen or touch snow in real life. Only I saw it on different medias, like- movies, tv., news, mags, etc. So, I know well about it.
ReplyDeleteBy the word- 'Snow' I meant nothing other than rain. It's a form of precipitation like the rain. Difference is snowfall takes place in cold and very cold places- high altitudes, like- shillong, simla, srinagar. etc. whereas, rain takes place in warmer places- low- lying areas, like- Cherrapunji, Assam, Bihar and etc. in our country. Snow is white and very cold bt rain is simply odourless water drops.
Both are form water in different shape and origin.

ReplyDeleteWhen I hear the word snow, my mind goes back to the day I experienced snow for the first time in a place called Mayodhya near Roing. I expected very chilling environment, whereas, it was rather warm and pleasant with bright sunshine.

Snow covered mountains,trees and roads which are very slippery. This is due my past experiences in high mountains . And every one's imagination is different.

ReplyDeleteEvery ones' view may differ because we have diverse thinking. Others view may differ from me because there experience may be different from me. So, our thinking and present thinking depends upon our past experience.
The first thing that comes to my mind when i imagine snow is the colour white and how cold it would be to touch it. If someone shares an opinion about snow which varies mine i would accept it as a healthy difference in opinion. I think there could be many factors leading to this difference in perspective. Some of the factors could be socio-economic background, past experiences, personal preferences etc

The word- 'Snow' sends in me a chill of coldness through the spine. When in snow, someone can't stay outdoor. Every body love to be indoor near a fire- place with warm dress over him.

It is considered as surreal for some and they might be awestruck by seeing snow for the first time. In contrast I have seen snow multiple times. Therefore I would respect their reaction for seeing snow for the first time.

Everyone has their own perspective towards everything and we should respect that. Knowing different perspectives can help you grow as it helps you see something in different ways.
Snow is cold and is made of frozen water crystal which seems very beautiful. Snowfall is generally seen in cold places and at high altitudes.....snow covers up the high mountain and tall trees,it is very hard to survive in such areas due to extreme cold.

It's so cool and refreshing, seems like white clouds of cotton all over me. It's was my first experience with snow and still remember those days.

Every person has different perspective of thinking so it's natural that the answers may not match and one should be okay with this . maybe the difference could be that I have enjoyed in real life and thus having an experience what it actually looks like and the person might not have experience though.

ReplyDeleteWhen I think about the word 'snow,I form a vivid picture of winters. As this season brings joy,happiness and celebration, thus I get positive vibes from within.Snow which depicts the colour 'white',also represents calmness and optimism that one must have in their life. The hill stations are the best destination for enjoying ravishing snowfalls and calmness of winters. The snow adds more beauty to the nature. The mountains covered with snow and the snow flakes resting upon the branches of the trees are the eye catching scene of the season.
ReplyDeleteSome people might have different perception and opinion regarding this season. The residents of hilly and colder areas are likely to have more preference for high temperate and hot regions. This is because with winters comes various challenges like blockage of roads,lack of infrastructure and other certain inconveniences.
Also if someone would have a different opinion regarding snow, then I would try my best to address their feelings and opinions. I would also make them understand both the bright and dark side of this phenomenon.

ReplyDeleteBy word SNOW one person feel excited due to beauty created snowfall in hill station. He imagine snow-capped mountain, roof full with snow everywhere whitish color which brings purity visiting of tourist making place magnificent enjoying seeping hot coffee or tea, wearing heavy woollen Germants etc whereas other feels hurdles during snowfall, life gets miserable due to heavy cold. Movement become troublesome etc.
ReplyDeleteThis difference only due to the difference of nativity of place. Native people of hill station never like snow while people belongs from plain like Snow very much because he has only experience while enjoying ice-cream during summer days.

ReplyDeleteMy viewpoint may be different from what others think because we all have unique opinions as an individual. So we are bound to have different thoughts even while thinking about the same thing.
The reason for this difference could be the variance of Human Perception due to previous experiences in life.
It is fresh, soft as well as severely cold very different from humid hot condition. I can imagine of playing with friends but with precautions in the snow. Think of photography, to learn skiing, making igloo, ice fishing etc. The soft snow flakes falling millions in number later blocking the roads, heavy machineries clearing snow blocked roads.

ReplyDeleteThe word "Snow" instills in me the feeling of joy and ecstasy of relaxation. It reminds me of my memorable visit to Tawang, the abode of snow capped beautiful mountains with my family. Although I won't be surpised if somebody had contradictory views and experience about "SNOW" as everybody have its own perception and personal experienses to relate to. Either Good or bad, the context in which it is applied matters.

ReplyDeleteWhen i hear the word snow the thing that comes to my mind is of cold weather, warm clothes, smoke coming out of chimney, mountains covered in white sheet of ice and a hot cup of coffee near a fire place.

ReplyDeleteThe first things that would come to my mind about the SNOW will be like "white crystals that flowdown from the sky like a rain as we all call it snowfall with supercool and freezing climate". But we human being have different taste and preferences according to diff geographical, climatic and political. so same goes to our level of imaginations too.
ReplyDeleteFirstly when someone talks about snow I start imagining the white color covered all around me. When someone shares something different from what I shared I feel like why I have not imagined like him or her? The reason behind it may be because of understanding things in different way..

ReplyDeleteWhen I imagine snow, first of all I see the white flakes in my mind's eye and filled all over the place. I imagined especially the place where I saw the snows for the first time in Mayudya mountain where the place was completely filled with snow. If someone shares something about snow which is very different from what I feel, I will not feel surprise but I will rather perceive that he/she has shared the personal experience, reaction and perception of snow.

At first I thought snow would be soft and white just like cotton. But when I saw it first for the time it was a like a crushed ice. the difference between my explanation and other are because as you can see that some people think it as soft and white as cotton but what I got to experience was that snows are liked crushed ice. But maybe it differs from place to place but now if I think about ice it just shows me the image of crushed ice

ReplyDeleteThe image that comes to my mind is a place where Snow has covered everything like a white blanket. I also see mountains covered in snow and the Sun shining simultaneously. I wouldn't be offended with a different perspective at all! The difference would be based on our past experiences. I come from a hilly region where it snows heavily, the other person would have had a different experience with snow.

ReplyDeleteIf someone shares something of snow which differs to mine, I may not be attracted to it or in contrary may come with an applause for it.
It is because of different perspective that build in our mind by our experience, situstion and atmosphere that we have differences in our perceptions and imaginations.
Here we must accomodate, and value others point of view.

ReplyDeleteIn my view when i show some snow in first time during winter period we feel chill n frozen all the body parts by playing with snow by throwing each other and make fun . All the hill mountain are covered with snow which make the beauty of nature and wind blowing during snow fall it make pleasant cold wind with poring snow cotton look gorgeous during the moment .

Secondly,i will be getting more opportunities to know once different imagination which are being shared by all the intellectuals.Thirdly, the reasons for the difference may be due to once mind sharpness or mind activeness, once sense of humour, the way of thinking.

ReplyDeleteeverybody would have their own individual perception about "snow" based on past experience(s). A Tawang dweller would probably imagine about the hard times experienced during chilly winter. An adventurer would definitely imagine herself scaling a snow-clad mountain.

ReplyDeleteSnow.. something that's cool ,soft white and powdery to touch. Something that melts easily when you hold it in the palms...when asked to imagine it as a scenario it would be, everything covered in white with some green of tree leaves peeping from beneath, warm blankets, hot coffee and warm sizzling fire.... If the other person's perspective of snow isn't the same as mine,maybe we could sit down and talk as to know how we differed in our opinions about the same thing... Maybe our experiences had something to do with it.
